I had a K + N panel filter on my tdi. Made no difference, made that little difference that it went in for a service with k+n, came out with standard one and I couldnt even tell until I remembered about it a few week later!

mine (b5.5) Is a bit temperamental, With slow falling rain it seems to not notice it, or see it as a shed load of rain, other then that they are spot on. Ive been driving down the road and theres been a slight mist falling and the wipers go on full pelt. Just another little thing to fall in love wit...

Re: new arb bushes !
Sorry to dig up an old post, but did the seals actually make any differance? I only ask because my ic seems to of been leaking oil. Is it worth taking the IC off to give it a clean cos sureley some oil must sit at the bottom if its leaking from the bottom hose. Also with the arb bushes, my car gives...

Re: changing side light bulbs on the passat
It would be easier for you to scrap it!
Just kidding lol, they are a ball ache, but i notice that the only way to get them out is to get hold of the wire, and start pulling literally straight back not even at a slight angle and they pop out. much easier to get back in.

I think before I chop them off ill just remove them. Then decide later what ill do with them. The coilovers should be going on not the wed coming, but the one after. Cant grumble at all for the price ive paid especially as to replace the standard shocks (which are on thier way out) will cost a dam s...

Re: Stu's Sat "Peesat"
Ok, just looking for a bit of advice this time.
As goldpedro is selling his coilovers for £50 (bargain) im not gonna let that go as my shocks are on thier way out.
Can anybody provide me with a list of DO's and DONT's for fitting them. possibly a link to another thread for fitting them?
Cheers
