My money would go on a Bora. They are very good value for money compared to Golfs and have nice little touches like flush closing facsia vents and chrome dial surrounds. Seats and Skodas are good too, but you are not as likely to get a PD engine. Interiors are not quite as good either. I had a Leon ...

I'd go for 225.

They will give you that bit more rim protection, and also keep to rolling radius as it should be.

What make of tyre are you using?

Buget tyres tend to produce more road noice on differing surfaces than premium brand tyres.

Fuel consumption has improved from 35-36mpg to 39-40mpg. I don't know what it does round town cos I don't go in if I can help it. I did a deal and paid £...

Take the battery out and have a poke around the drain holes under that. If it's holding water there, that's probably it. While your there, check your pollen filter, if the cover is not on properly water gets it through the heater. It could be a combination of the two. Water has collected in the batt...

The standard aerial is about the best with a factory head unit. I've tried stubbies, civic ones, all sorts and they are all poor. If you have a aftermarket head unit you may need a booster. This goes in line between the aerial lead and the head unit and takes 12v from the power out of the head unit....

I always wanted one of those when I was younger. A mates dad had a new 90 in 1987. He got to borrow it when his dad wasn't looking. Great for posing in. The spots remind me of my first car. A 1981 Daihatsu Charade with 6 Lucas 20/20's, a cb and musical air horns. Those were the days. My saturday job...

Photo location

On the old forum there was a thread with members pics at a certain location.

I can't find it on this one, so thought I might try and start a new one with a new location.

Here's my motor on the Channel Tunnel Train.

Anyone else?

Press the button on the underside of the mirror

There is a light next to the light sensor to say if it's on or off. When it is in auto dim mode, it should revert to normal when you select reverse.
