The standard aerial is about the best with a factory head unit. I've tried stubbies, civic ones, all sorts and they are all poor. If you have a aftermarket head unit you may need a booster. This goes in line between the aerial lead and the head unit and takes 12v from the power out of the head unit....

Press the button on the underside of the mirror

There is a light next to the light sensor to say if it's on or off. When it is in auto dim mode, it should revert to normal when you select reverse.

This is stating the obvious, Sorry, but, Is is switched on?

If you've got a dimming mirror, you should have auto wipers as well.
