EGR Cooler

Hi all,

Had a EML appear on the dash last week, got hold of a carista dongle and app and had a scan. It showed 2 engine faults one was the glow plug relay and the others was P200200 which is a DPF issue.

I’ll happily replace the relay and make that go away. I’ve seen lot of stuff on the net about blocked low pressure EGRs causing back pressure and forcing the light on.

So, do I attempt to remove it and clean it ? Do I replace with a new one and hope it lasts a few years or do I fit a delete and code it out.

How easy (or hard) is it to get out ?

Any advice is greatly received
