Oil pressure sensor / Drivers window mech

Hey dudes!!!
Just bought another B5.5 estate. This time a 2002 2.5 tdi V6. Just drove it 130 miles home but theres a couple of niggling issues
1) Oil sensor light comes on internittently.. - sounds serious but think its a sensor as the guy who sold me it said its been playing up for 3 years / 20k miles.. My question is where is it located and are all the units i've found online universal ? T5 V6 TDI, 2.5 TDI V6 SYNCO/ 4 MOTION etc etc..
2) Drivers window doesn't open - Motor and switch engage but the window doesn't move.. Whilst driving on the motorway window lowers itself very slightly.. A saturday afternoon job with the card off, I know.. My question - has anyone else had the same issue?
