OEM LED lights - retro-fit?

Hi,
my lovely '62 CC GT was in a significant RTA last week and a write-off.
So, a year earlier than scheduled, I'll be ordering a replacement company car. Our list (through Lex) is not the same as it was - different compnay restrictions applied sadly - so no CC for me.
I had looked at a load of possibilities, but have pretty-much narrowed it down to the new Passat Saloon in GT trim. Likely to be the 2.0bhp manual I opt for. Would love the DSG option (had this before on a 54 plate A3), but that would mean going to the SE Business Edition spec - much of what the GT trim brings are what I'd want (alcantara, heated seats etc).

So. now new (employer) restrictions in place, we're capped at a trade-up for the car (from one's "grade") and the cost of options we put onto it.
Using our company portal onto the Lex site, I can go for the GT 2.0TDi 150 (manual), and add
- Dynaudio (which I've read many mixed opninions about on this forum, but I'd spec'd it on my CC and THAT version was superb)
- heated windscreen
- Metallic OR LED headlights - either but not both, & i'd like both!
this takes the upgrade to this specfic car, and the options, to within a quid of the cap the company has set for everyone.

So, trying to box clever, I'm wondering if I could spec all the above options EXCEPT the LED lights, and retrofit them add them (OE) myself afterward - i.e. are they plug & play, subject to VAG-coding? I know they won't be cheap to buy, but I'm not concerned with that. I'd happily pay the cost as a factory option but it takes me above the very strict limit - i.e. not up for discussion - that my employer has set.

I still need to listen/demo to a standard B8 audio - which I will be doing next week, and judge how that compared with my CC's Dynaudio. Who knows, whilst sound quality is indeed subjective, I may fall into the group on this forum that questions the value of this upgrade (compared with standard), and chuck the money at active display and reversing camera instead!

I'd be very grateful for any views regarding the LED's
