My current tyre size is 205/55/R16 94W, a local mechanics is trying to sell me 205/60/R16, when I was checking out the price on mytyre website using car's registration number, it gave me 6 option of tyre size, and the other website tyreleader suggested 195/65/R15.
I am now very confused which tyre size is the right one or best. My passat is a 2002 1.8T Petrol Estate, I was told this is a sports version by the seller, but I can't see any wording of "sport" in the technical data booklet that came with the car. The car is mainly use for local, short distance driving. Please recommend a suitable size best for fuel economy.
