Car cleaning annual budget ?

Hello all,
5th anniversary of the Passat and having a garage clearout came across the Autoglym bag of goodies (put on a high shelf and piled more stuff in front of it) given to us by the dealer (after some serious haggling on top of the scrappage for the old Vectra
)
Just wondering when you tot up all the detailing products you end up using, I'm going to allow for £100
What's the favourites with members ... specially the tar remover, is there an effective cheaper alternative ?
