What Oil do you use?

Hi all, sorry for the silly question but this is driving me mad. I want to service my car myself from now on, but want to use the correct oils etc...

VW say Castrol SLX Professional Powerflow Longlife III was used in the factory but I cant really find it, only Castrol Edge. Is this the replacement?

Also I need the "low ash" formula, but want long life as I am a high mileage user but still change every 10K.

Where do you recommend to buy from online or local to M1 J27?

Am I right in thinking a 32mm socket for the filter and 19mm for the Sump plug?
