v6 tdi vs 1.9 tdi Gearboxes

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the 6 speed box is the same for both of these vehicles?
If I had an option of a 2003 v6 tdi 6 speed box would it fit/work on the 2001 1.9 tdi engine?
