Abs reluctor ring

Ca anyone help me I'm after checking and possibly changing the front right reluctor ring as I have a problem with the abs kicking in at slow speeds when braking.
I have changed the sensor but still have the same problem so next want to check the rings.
Do I need to remove the drive shaft or can I get to the ring by just removing the caliper and disk gain me access ?
It's a 2003 1.9tdi 130
