Aftermarket HIDs and Wiper Motor

Just making people aware that these can cause problems with wiper motors packing up. I had a set on my B6, and were working brilliantly, until my wiper motor stopped working. i scanned the car with VagCom and the codes i got were 00153 - Windshield Wiper Motor; Driver Side (V216) and 02071 - Local Databus: No Signal/Communication. The motor had packed up due to my HIDs, so i had to replace the motor (which was £155+vat from TPS) and put standard halogens back in. All working well now.
