(Its basically an electric heater that means you get warm air out of the vents way before the diesel engine has heated up enough to provide hot air).
According to my VCDS scan, mine has died - but I have no idea where it's located (most likely behind the dash somewhere totally inaccessible!!) - I'd quite like to replace it but can't find any info online about it's whereabouts and therefore any idea of how to go about replacing it
