My cars developed a whoo type owl kind of noise when pulling off I think I have traced it to the turbo intake pipe possibly split somewhere, my mate has a eBay TIP on his vrs and so do many of others members at Bristolskoda.net and says there exactly the same as Forge/samco ect for build quality (forge hoses are made in Asia) I was sceptical but the pictures of the two side by side are hard to differentiate as the thickness and ply layers are almost identical.
My question is obviously you get what you pay for.. But £41 with jubilee clips & with a years warranty or a forge pipe £156 no clips that's a huge price difference? Most reviews are great some have had fitting issues or needed trimming to fit.
Has anyone or know anyone that has/is using a ebay silicone TIP?
And no I do not want a standard hose i can see mine collapse on boost when it was on RR, just want positive opinions before I depart with £160!
