These rear badges have been in 'chrome' for far too long now(since i have owned the car !) I have spent about the last three weeks trying diffent colour combinations, Splitting the 'VW' badge into its three components and trying different things. Even using a badge I had from a Scirocco I had and using the £3k speed sander at work to shave it down and try to 'french' it into the recess. Still would like to do that but its going to take a fair amount of work and a complete custom badge. Anyway this is the result.
Have to wait a couple of weeks before a polish and wax as the paint has to cure off.
So finally there is no 'chrome' .......just how i want it
