Lowering springs?......

Well hopefully getting my indicators lit as DLR's on Tuesday, so now onto my next question.........
Car 61 vw passat cc gt140
KW lowering springs 30/30 drop £150 from dealer on my local club forum..........
Has anyone got any experience or should I be buying another make?
Will springs affect the adaptive suspension at all?
