Hi all,

I was sat in the Passat the other day, when i thought my door locked button didnt seem right down, so i opened and closed it using the button on the inside, did this a couple of times. Now the car will not open on the key fob. It will open manually but not on the push button. I've changed the battery in the fob, i've plugged the car up to the VAG com shows no faults. The fob is transmitting as i've had it on an RF scanner. The VAG com seen the fob transmitting. When i open the door with the key, the hazards flash continually until i turn the ignition. Its almost as if the alarm is going off without making a sound (hazards).

I've tried another key fob with the correct config to open my car, still no joy. Its almost as if i've inadvertently switched off the receiver for the door opening switch.

I did a quick search on Google and someone said try turning the key in the door till the windows open, then turn back till they close. Tried that too, no joy.

Any ideas would be great?
