2012 PASSAT HEADLIGHT REMOVAL

Hi
I have a 2012 Passat Estate and are fitting a HID kit. As with my previous car a BMW 5 series it was far easier to remove the headlight to fit the kit.
So far I have managed to get the headlight loose by removing the grille and the 2 ?? bolts holding it in place, but are stuck now. Plus removed the multi electrical cable
Any help on what to do next will be most welcome.
