need to get the airbag light of before MOT tuesday

hello all, I really need help to switching off airbag light for MOT.... I have had this problem last MOT a year ago also, the light was on on the dash so I took the car to my machanic and he switched it off with his computer and it stayed off for MOT but a few days later after mot the light came on again after hitting a dip on the road, it did not annoy me as I had got the Mot... But I left the car in again before christmas to get a rear caliper and service so I asked my machanic to switch it of again but this time it would not go out via his computer and he said there was a fault in the plug under the drivers seat, he cut off the plug and joined the wires and then the light went out for him with his computer so I was happy...

So I booked the car in for Tuesday of this week about two weeks ago, but the airbag light came back on last Wednesday arrrrrrhhhh ... so panic mode has set in yesterday and I drove over to my mechanics again, he plugged in the computer and the drivers seat fault come up again... He fiddled with the wires and tried a few times to knock out the light on the dash but no joy... he said the wires must be loose up towards the detonator and he will have to take out the seat which he has no time to do before Tuesday... the two options he give me is to buy a new seat or cancel my MOT for another date but sadly It is to late to cancel now

Is there anything I can do to knock out the light just for MOT Tuesday..... can the bulb be removed from the dash on the airbag icon or can I cover the icon by opening the dials up..... Is they anything else I can do.... please help as I only have a few days left
