Hit a pheasant! Advice needed

Managed to smash the lower grill (beneath the number plate) when a pheasant flew out of the hedge at low level. VW want around £100 to fit a flimsy piece of plastic. Is there an aftermarket solution or cheaper option? It's only smashed on one side and no its not hasn't foglights (2011 VW 2.0Tdi SE) Mk7
