tapping top end

been on the car all afternoon new oil 505.01 new oil air and fuel filters & temp sensor. dont know if its just me or because i had the engine cover off but the tappets seem noisier now then before i done it. the oil i took out seems better than the stuff i put in (gm dexos2) ebay numb 250902145655 if you want to check out the spec . any ideas..
