Well I've just had a crackin time with my new bit of kit....NOT!!
Had to sort my rear caliper as it was seized so obviously had to bleed the system. So got a gunson eezibleed. All seemed very easy apart from getting an airtight seal. First of it pee'd air out the bottle after connected to a spare tyre at around 18psi. Once sorted I filled the bottle up and reattached the tyre valve. Then the brake fluid sprayed a fine mist over my windscreen. Wiggled it a bit and sorted the leak. It then started filling the reservoir past the full mark???? So I wipped around to the new caliper to loose the bleed valve, the brake fluid then shot out the bleed nipple and started to bleed the caliper, then I heard a pop!! dangly bits!!! Ran to the engine bay only to find brake fluid spraying out what looked like the seem on the reservoir tank??? It may of been the cap itself on the reservoir that was spraying but it the mad panic I flipped the valve off the tyre to release the pressure.
So first of all has anyone had this before?? Started to bleed the brakes
And suddenly it pops or have I done something wrong??
Oh all that and the tyre valve came off and dropped into the engine bay. Not that impressed with this kit!!!
