Syncro/4-Motion , REAR brake upgrade ???

Hi !
I'm in need to change the rear brakes on my B5 4-Motion/Syncro and like to do an
little brake upgrade for a affordable price at the same time...
All B5 4-Motion/Syncro uses an 245 mm solid brake disc regardless of engine size.
...however I have seen that many of the Audi A6 "Quattro" uses the same brake caliper and pads as the Passat and a little larger solid brake disc of 255 mm.
VW part # : 8D0 615 601 A
Audi part # : 4B0 615 601 B
What will I need to do to get this to work ??
Does someone know if the above AUDI A6 Quattro brake disc will fit on a Passat 4-Motion
with the use of the caliper bracket/brake carrier from the Audi A6 "Quattro" ??
