Hi
I have currently got a thread going about a fault code I have.
The thread title (and details of fault code) is :

17965 charge pressure control positive deviation p1557 - 35-00

The general consensus seems to point towards sticking vanes in the turbo.

I have found a product in Toolstation called "Engine Flush" that is advertised as :

"Cleans sticky vanes, lifters and piston rings. Neutralises acid residue. Removes harmful deposits. Improves oil circulation. Cleans engine in 15 minutes"

Has anyone used this before?
Any thoughts on whether this will help my problem?
Do you think it will be ok for engines with long life oil ? (Not sure if it is added to fuel or oil)

Product number on www.toolstation.com is 72043.

For 2.28GBP its got to be worth a try, assuming its not going to damage something else.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks
