New to the forum and need few tips :D

Hi guys i just got a VW PASSAT 2003 sport and i need some advice on few things.
I want to get 5000k hid kit but i have foggy oxydized headlamps i have seen few topics on this matter but i would like to do the job DIY and i would like to know how to. and also how to keep them like that so they dont fogg up again.
Also im looking to upgrade to a double-din as the standard setup its not the best i would like to know how hard is it to fit and also where i can get the right topic for that
Ummmm... and also how to change the bulbs in lights as ive heard its not the easy i will be lookin to replace the high beam with 100w as i live in cornwall and drive a lot of back lanes
and im also gonna replace the main ones for hid kit after i clear the fogginess up
