A shot of my, I mean her, car last night

After seeing some of the wicked night shots that have appeared on here recently. I thought I would try my hand at perfecting, my limited skill, in taking a nice night shot.
I took this one last night whilst on a darting visit to Tesco's for a bit of medicine, can't be running out of booze on a week night now can we
Anyway I can't decide on the beam of light coming down from the street light, also it looks as if the church is sharper than the car. I had the camera set on ISO 100, f4.5, 20sec exposure. With a focal length of 54mm.
Any thoughts/advise would be appreciated.
