Car Advice Please...

Want some advice from you guys please!
Dad is getting abit old so wanna buy him a car.
He drives a Skoda Octavia (taxi) at the moment and i want to get him a Lexus IS Diesel. Has to be an auto!!!
Only problem is that Lexus dont make the Diesel in an Auto
Any one wanna reccomend anything else?
Dont wanna get him a passat as i have one already and want summat different.
cant be much more that a 2 litre Diesel as its gonna be a taxi!!
has to be an auto and needs to be luxury
Budget is about £10K
