Subwoofer installation

Going to be installing a sub and amp on my b7 saloon. I've heard there is a ground spot on these saloons under a certain trim in the wheel arch, just wondering which one it is?
Second of all, I'm going to be running my RCA and remote wire from the driver's side, so where's the best way to channel it from the back of the stereo to the door trim?
