Bike from halfords

First of all it HAS to be from halfords I'm afraid. I have been offered a cycle to work scheme and I have £900 to spend on the bike itself and accessories I don't really know a lot about bikes and the specs just puzzle me can anyone recommend one from halfords with a good spec and big brakes
