2011 Passat b7, cut out while driving, won't start.

Hi all, I have a 2011 Passat b7 2.0tdi blue motion.

On Sunday I left my house to go out and drove around 3 miles when the car cut out doing around 40-50mph. It flashed up with "Error:ESP" I managed to roll to stop in a gateway. The ignition comes on and I have the esp light on, the tpms light on and an engine light. The car will not turn over when I try it. I first replaced the battery as it was reading at 11.8v. With a fresh battery in there is no change. I push the key in and it doesn't turn over. When the ignition is on the fans in the engine bay come on after 5-10 seconds and stay spinning until I turn off the ignition.

With a code reader I am able to see it has 2 codes on the brake electronics which it will not clear.

01314 - Engine control module - no communication
01325 - Tyre pressure management system - no communication.

Is this related to the wet ECU problem I have seen elsewhere or could it be something else, I see someone else here replaced a starter relay and that helped.

Any thoughts on what I can do will be much appreciated.
