How to replace daylight running lights

Hi,
I need to replace a blown bulb, but the instructions in the manual that came with the car don't match the reality. It says take the small screw out - there is a place for the screw, but neither side has one in. Then it says use the hook to pull / rotate the drl cluster out - but that doesn't work.

I have seen one post viewtopic.php?t=94125 which seems to have the same lights, but it seems rather a bodge to do that - there must be a better 'correct' way to change this.

any ideas?
