Non starting B4 AAZ

Hello,

I’m wondering if you guys have any ideas about my non starting Passat?

It’s an 1994 1.9 AAZ TD

It was running and starting fine, and then this morning it’s just turning over at normal cranking speed and no sign of firing at all.

I haven’t had it that long and it did have a dysfunctional Sparkrite alarm that I removed a couple of weeks ago and all has been well.

It’s like an immobiliser has kicked in and cut the supply to the fuel stop solenoid, I’m going to check this next. Do AAZ these have an immobiliser of any type please?
