Door mirror replacement

Evening all,

Probably a daft question, but my off side door mirror was clipped this morning by an oncoming driver, and rather than pay the quoted £911 for an OEM replacement I thought I'd have a look around at the second hand market. I can pick one up, but it came off a B8 saloon and I have an estate. So the daft question is - are they the same?
