No Throttle Response

Hi All,

I thought I'd start another thread for this after my locked out thread as it's a separate issue - after parking my B5.5 up for a few weeks I now have no throttle response. I've attached youtube link below, what happens is the car starts normally, if I gently press the throttle the revs start to climb and then just before it hits 1100 it trips and drops, before climbing on it's own to stabilise at 1100. After I leave the car running for 5 mins or so I get an engine workshop warning.

I've removed the throttle pedal to check for moisture inside, but no sign of anything.

Does anyone have any experience with this or any idea what the cause could be?
