P2015 dieselgeek bracket

Hi,
Has anyone any experience of the dieselgeek bracket?
Is it a quick delivery and does it work?
Is there any visual checks that I could do to diagnose the problem?
Bleeding car has just come up with the P2015  07E8 Intake manifold runner position sensor switch circuit range performance bank 1a error.
What's worse is that the bl@#y thing is due to go to Vw for the dirty cheat fix next Saturday!
If it had just held out till then I could have tried the old 'it was ok before you fixed it' ploy.
