Wondering what my 83' B2 was worth?

Post by Dannytheduck1985 » Mon Jul 11, 2016 10:01 pm

Since buying my B2 I have been wrapped up in fulfilling my objective of getting her on road. Now with only a sub frame bush to change for MOT, I was wondering....... What's she worth?

She's an 83' CL Hatch with 143k on the clock. The original engine has just been totally rebuilt, including replacing disi, coolant flanges, sensors and battery. Wheel bearing and brake pipes have been replace and brakes serviced.

almost nothing without an mot but with an mot at least 500 up to 1000. 1500 for a really tidy one with low miles

Wow not much then considering there's only 5 1.8 1983's registered with the dvla and all are SORN. Think I should find and buy them!!!. I've been offered double that pmsl. I'll stick a pic on here of it for sale at European Bugin next year, test the market properly.[/quote]

Of course, well-kept condition is most important... - and the number of people who are willing to pay more if a VW is stock condition and not "slammed" is said to be increasing as well.

I'm tempted to keep this totally stock to be fair. Belguims a long way to take a slammed car. Anyone going Bugin?

My bad mate, there 10 in total. 5 SORN, 5 on road. I got one SORN (till tomorrow) and you got one that's on road.
