
Seems that the Rev-counter was responsible, admitted the car is somewhat damp at the mo, I drained at least 3l of water from the drivers rear footwell, not driven it a few weeks so obviously there's an issue somewhere (guess I have rust above the fusebox in the bulkhead

Now to find another breaker B4tdi with the full electronic dash cluster including mfa, electronic speedo & rev-counter
