I was in a band years ago called "Plug" I'll have to try and dig out some vids. Was was back in the early 2000's and as I'm sat here now in an iPhone 4 then you can tell we didn't make it lol. Wasn't metal though it was indie.

show me another music genre that can do this! \m/ :hyst

Obey the Beard by Psychostick

I should point out I am neither follically challenged nor do I endorse growing beards or wearing bandannas!

distinct modern take on old Suicidal Tendencies video style with a good twist of humour :D see other videos like political bum lol.

Personally though, in the spirit of thread necro, I have to draw your attention to this :

Inspired by Abby in NCIS, (I would say inspired, but its more sort of deviated and obsessed :)) the official 2nd NCIS theme music album.

First off, all pay homage to the god like Ministy covering the theme tune :

We will hear no dissenters to the awesome Ministry!

And the rest, inluding a track by Pauley Perette Herself =(( :

most of this is what you hear Abby playing in her lab during scenes :) Lets face it, we would all lie at her feet. But I would look up while doing so :ymbringiton:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EoBzrRs ... F9CC033208

Heres the original soundtrack :

not rock, but pretty masterful in its own right when you see your first NCIS episodes, a genius level pick.

Personally I think the biggest missed trick in music is Industrial, its influenced everything, led technology and brought new styles and techniques first.

It has some giant names, yet mainstream wont even cough its name :/

Here we have a young trent Reznor (NiN), could it be 20 years old?

could it be every day in the mainstream is exactly yhe same?

I think its all a terrible lie!

Yeah, they are, epic metal, I think its called. They are touring NZ at the moment, had wondered about going, I used to listen to them 10 years ago, but I kind of got bored with the repetitiveness of the music.
More into A7X, Metallica, B4MV, and of course the classics like Ozzy, but also rock, I still hash out some old Alice, Deep Purple, Whitensnake on a weekly basis.

Time to move with the times lol, Im mostly EBM now, because among other things it takes from rock, metal,
industrial, and a lot more. Just a rock ish selection.

I'm a metal fan of course. But the thing is, I don't listen to metal songs everyday. Maybe 3-4 days a week.
