Hi, I haven't really posted on here yet but am hoping that someone can help me. I have a B6 Estate (2008, 2ltr TDI 140Bhp) which had the engine management light come on and stay on. I'm presuming that it is a faulty/dirty EGR valve? After reading a few posts on here people seem to suggest to either clean it before replacing it or removing it and remapping the engine. So my questions:
1) if I go for the cleaning option what do I use to clean it with and are the seals/gaskets available without having to buy the valve?
2) if I decide to remove it have you got any suggestions where to get a blanking kit from and are there any recommended garages around Salisbury for the fitting and remapping?
