Petrol 1.4 TSI 150

Unlike the UK the 1.4 TSI 150bhp engine is available here in Ireland. But it's €370 more than the comparable 2.0TDI 150bhp. I have heard good things about this engine but it probably doesn't make sense to pay more for it than the diesel. What do you reckon?
