single mass flywheel....very impressed

Post by yogib5 »

For any doubters out there if there planning a single mass flywheel conversion,

Mine is a petrol though, not sure if the oil burners would quite have the same positive result

But i picked my car up tonight from my mechanic and noticed straight away that the bite was exactly where it should be, about half way

He changed the gear box oil so the gear changes have definitely improved aswell, very tight and no notchey feel

There is no rattle or idle vibration whatsoever, and my mechanic said the clutch/ flywheel kit was one of the best kit's he's seen

I can't recommend darkside developments and there sister branch the clutch shop enough

*EDIT*... Its actually called clutch stop, and not " the clutch shop" like i typed

True professionals and very knowledgeable with a first class service

And to top it of, with the flywheel been lighter than the duel mass, its on boost a lot quicker and spins up to 5 k revs a lot quicker, it really does have a very sporty racing feel

Big thumbs up to single mass conversions
