Hi folks,
My Comfort control module got a soaking two winters ago (leaking pollen filter) but continued working ok. It has recently given up the ghost - I have lost interior lights , boot release, electric windows, central locking so I have removed it to have a look inside.

The unit and the connectors look brand new with no signs of corrosion / damage? I have searched and the consensus seems to point to the wiring - my question is - if it is in fact the CCM which is at fault -can I just buy a spare off ebay or does it have to be particular to my 2003 1.9TDI?

Any input is greatly appreciated.
