On the back of my other thread ' viewtopic.php?t=77754, i thought i'd research into a worst case scenario as a backup, anf have come to the conclusion that if the box is kaput, then i'd prefer to put in the DQS box from the V6 2.5 as the car is more about long runs and economy than performance. Although searching on here a few have mentioned that they fit, I did find this post
( http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.ph ... 108&page=6 ) elsewhere that does mention a few issues, they key one being the supposed 1/2" shorter input shaft mentioned in post 78. Can anybody confirm or deny this?
