Hey guys... In fear of sounding like a broken record..... Sorry I've been slac on here recently... I've had other poo going on.
The Ap's are goosed on my B6 and the two year warranty is not worth using as toilet roll...
My options are to
A.. Give AP nearly £350 + shipping of my blown struts, for replacement fronts which will be refunded should a fault be found. ( I can't see me getting any money back)
B.. Put my car on jack stands .. Send the struts back for inspection and wait for the new ones to arrive... Mean while all my brakes and fuel will be stolen and the car will be pushed over by the local hippy toe rags. (Also I own a car so I can drive it.... Not turn it in to a paper weight)
C... Return the car to standard.. (This option is growing on me)
D.. Buy FK's do the swop and sell the AK's if/when they get replaced.
I am not willing to buy another new set of AP's as the after sales is so bad they don't deserve another sale from me.
The kit was great until the issues started but I'm not sure it was much better than the cheaper options available.
So anyway...
My question.... You guys who are running the FK's already... What do you think of them. ?
Comfort?
Noises?
Handling?
Scuttle shake?
Quality? Ie... How long do the seals last? Rust?
I would like to keep the 60mm drop but may raise it slightly as the roads around here seem to be getting worse/I'm getting old. Ha.
Thanks in advance and hope to catch you at the gathering. ..( my car will not be winning any trophies this year!)
Well unless there is one for the most neglected....
