Volkswagen have just released two new trim levels of the B7 Passat. The Executive and Executive Style. These are to replace the current R-line, Highline and Sport.
They did the same thing with the B5.5 model in 2004 when the launched the Trendline and Highline. This normally signifies the end of a model run, so I'm thinking that the current B7 Passat's days are numbered and we'll be seeing a new car based on the MQB platform in the not too distant future.

2004 V6 TDI gone and replaced with a 2011 TDI Sport DSG which has gone too.
