N18, N239 and N75 - locations on a AVB?

Post by soops »

Vagcommed the car last week due to poor starting and it threw up charge pressure control fault - positive deviation, also MAF inaudible. Changed the MAF, still inaudible.
Took it to a garage, they fault coded it using different software and it threw up a N239 fault, mechanic then spent a while pulling plugs off the valve located next to the air filter and said because it went open circuit that it was wiring at fault?
I have a spare valve to use as a test, although I know that the two ones that look identical do not work the same, I've also got the valve that bolts into the manifold, but not sure what part numbers are which?
Would really like to sort this as the car runs fine when warm but starting from cold I'm having to hold her on the crank to start her!! (No glowplug fault codes, although the light only seems to stay on for a second or two, have tried waiting for the light to go out, then switching off and on again once it has gone out a couple of times and it's doesn't make any difference)
I've only got VCDS lite so can't go into detail or clear fault codes, although I've had the codes deleted manually twice at garages but still get the same codes thrown up.
Thanks in advance,
Soops.
