I've had this car 3 weeks now and I've had nowt but flippin issues...
Main one at the min is the bonnet not opening!!!! Its always been a little stiff to open the bonnet, but after coming back from a long drive down south I tried opening the bonnet and it wasnt for having it. I pulled a little harder and a small black part came loose and fell from the side. It doesnt appear to be broken, so I'm hoping I can replace it.
My question is this; How do I remove the handle of the bonnet pop? I can remove the small quarter panel, but the handle wont allow me to remove the panel. Or is there an alternate way I can open the bonnet.
I'm one more fault closer to getting rid of this thing, I never seemed to have so many problems with my B5, even the body is showing signs of internal corrosion on the paintwork.
Went to VW to see if they could offer any for of assistance and was told it'd be approx £170 to sort....
Can anyone help me with this please?
