I was wondering if anyone's sucessfully swapped the motor/switch etc. for the sunroof of a B4 into a B3. I'm getting tired of the sunroof switch on mine poking into the motor cover. I've tried multiple covers & they all seem to have the same issue over time. Logic tells me the only differences
should be the extra wiring involved in the close-with-key-in-door function (which I'm not worried about) & possibly the lighting in the switch. I know the B3 switch does light up though. Here are the schematics I've grabbed from my Bentleys. The later one is from my Mk3 book, but given that the switch is the same, I'd think the wiring would be as well.
I haven't really taken the time to sit down & work this out yet. Just wanted to see if it's a path someone else has already been down.
