i am super glad i found this site late last night . i used to be part of the b3e.com site. many years ago.
the disappearance of that site left a big void in my life...
i love b3 platform cars. i have had 5 saloons 5spds 16v non abs and i also currently have a syncro sedan .
i have been part of vortex for 5 years now and i can not beleive i never saw this site before.
as i love my baby; the car; i have been collecting parts for a build.
mostly oem plus is the theme i am going for.
the car is a gun metal color outside; it was grey clotch interior with heated seats and i have now converted it to the black cloth interior of the 93 model year vr6 only cars.
i also installed foglights as optioned only in the usa.
the headlight washer nozzles i retrofited are from the canadian market only option( i know there are a few countries in europe that got these also but no the usa market); i am in the process of building a N/A 16v engine with some abf cams; 50mm kr intake manifold modified; header and so on.
it is after all a family hauler. i have a wife and 2 kids.
i also have a complete climatronic system from germany that awaits for me to grow some courage and rip the dash out to transplant it into the car.
i got a GT package set of door mouldings and fender flares a year ago but it is missing the side skirts. i beg all of you in this forum if anyone can help me sort that out.
i have smoked tresser tails on it now but i am on the hunt for the smoked and red tails .
i acquired a new in the box heckblende for the car also sometime ago.
oin my list of options or mods i am yet to source:
the side skirts for the GT package
the Gt bumpers
the front window wind deflectors for keeping the rain out when you roll the windows down about 1" or so.
the taxi console will have to be the most hard to get option for hte car.
i hope i get the desire or will to post pictures up shortly.
usually i drag that task of loading them up to photobucket.
