what i need is how do i know which is live and which is negative
1 wire has writing on it but doesnt say positive or nowt like that
av just bought these and realy dont wanna make them go bang lol

i have this power lead for my 2 rear screens but i want to cut the plug off it and connect it straight to the power supply for my head unit so they come on when my head unit comes on and goes off when i take my key out
what i need is how do i know which is live and which is negative
