Gargling behind dash. Air in Heater Matrix.

Passat 1.9 SE TDI 02 Gargling noise behind dash. Could it be air in the system, if so can anyone point me to a write up or give some instructions about purging the air from the heater core. I was looking for a bleed nipple on the heater hoses, but can't see one. Thanks.
